Privacy policy
What we collect, why, who we share it with, how cookies and ads work on this site, and how to exercise your rights.
This policy explains how LLModel.com ("we", "us") handles personal information when you visit the site or use its forms. If you have questions, use our contact page and choose "Privacy request".
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use a form, we receive what you enter. Depending on the form, that can include your name, email address, company, role, team size, country, website, phone number, project details, contest entries, job applications and messages. Forms are processed by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-delivery service that forwards submissions to our inbox.
Information collected automatically
- Hosting logs. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log technical data such as IP addresses for security and operations.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Advertising, consent and optional analytics services may set cookies or use similar identifiers, as described below.
- Browser storage. The site saves a few settings in your own browser, such as your color theme and how you arrived, so forms can note the campaign that brought you. This stays on your device unless you submit a form.
The tools
Our calculators, token counter and prompt builder run in your browser. Text and numbers you type into them aren't sent to us. The token counter's exact mode downloads an open-source tokenizer from the jsDelivr CDN, which, like any web server, receives your IP address.
2. How we use information
- To answer your messages and requests, and to prepare the recommendation you ask for.
- To introduce you to implementation partners, only if you ask us to.
- To send the newsletter if you subscribe, and to run contests you enter.
- To review job applications and sponsorship or listing requests.
- To keep the site secure, understand how it's used and improve it.
- To meet legal obligations.
3. Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners, as third-party vendors, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites. Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You can turn off personalized ads from Google in My Ad Center or Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu.
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent message from Google before personalized ads or cookies are used where the law requires it.
4. Cookies and your choices
- Advertising cookies from Google AdSense, described above.
- Consent cookies that remember your choices in Google's consent message.
- Analytics cookies, if we turn on Google Analytics, to count visits and understand which pages are useful, with IP anonymization.
- YouTube. Videos load in privacy-enhanced mode, and nothing from YouTube loads until you press play. Once you play a video, YouTube may set cookies under its own policy.
- Fonts. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Where Google's consent message is shown, you can change your choice at any time with the button below or the "Privacy and cookie choices" link in the footer.
5. Sharing
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run the site, such as our form processor, hosting, email and, if enabled, analytics providers.
- With implementation partners you ask to be introduced to, limited to the details needed for your project.
- With advertising partners through cookies, as described above and subject to your choices.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
- With a buyer or successor if the site or domain is sold or transferred, who must handle it under this policy.
6. Retention
We keep messages and project requests for up to 24 months, newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe, contest entries for 12 months after the contest ends, and job applications for 12 months. We delete or anonymize information when we no longer need it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict some processing, and to withdraw consent. This includes rights under the EU and UK GDPR, Canadian privacy law including Quebec's Law 25, and US state privacy laws such as California's. To make a request, use the contact page. We'll respond within the time the law requires and won't treat you differently for exercising your rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
The person in charge of the protection of personal information for LLModel.com can be reached through the same contact page.
8. International transfers
Our service providers may process information outside your country, including in Canada and the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
9. Children
LLModel.com is not directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we limit who can access submitted information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don't send sensitive personal data, such as health or financial details, through our forms.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version, and we'll highlight significant changes on this page.
